Old Temple Oheb Shalom Eutaw Place Baltimore

Baltimore: The Former Temple Oheb Shalom on Eutaw Place

This is part of the dome of the former Temple Oheb Shalom in Bolton Hill. Located on an elegant block at Eutaw Place and Lanvale Street, the Moorish Revival temple was built by the congregation in 1891. By 1960, the congregation had moved to Upper Park Heights Avenue, and the old Temple was purchased by the Maryland Prince Hall Masons. The Lodge owns the Temple to this day.

Dockside Fantasy Pratt Street Pier Four Inner Harbor Baltimore

The old Power Plant building and USCG Tanney at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland. The photo is actually the reflection of the buildings and the ship in the adjacent water. I rotated the image 180 degrees and flipped it horizontally (so it appears to no longer be mirror-imaged, but “correct” with respect to reality).
The strong colors are the result of early-morning, low-angle sun reflecting off of the brick buildings.
